The Apothecary

My name is Jeff and I started Warrior Garden Apothecary in September of 2024. I was being medically retired from the United States Army after 12 years of service due to a surgery that didn’t go as planned.

The surgery left me in immense physical pain, and I knew that if I allowed myself to become dependent on medications, I would lose everything important to me, including myself. I began studying as much as I possibly could about holistic medications and natural products, which ultimately led me to opening WGA.

I grew up in a small rural town in Texas. Both of my grandparents leaned heavily into holistic medications and one of the fondest memories I have is helping my grandmother in her garden during the summer.

I turned to holistic care after witnessing first hand the ability that nature has to heal, and to better our lives, and now, I want to share what I have learned through personal experience with you all.

After much deliberation, my wife and I decided that the apothecary would be the best thing not only for me, but for the people around me. A way I can continue to help people as I have learned to help myself.

This is a Veteran owned, but family operated business, so when you support us, you’re not putting money into big corporations, you’re putting it into a families home.

Our Ingredients

•Our soap bases are made in the U.S. cruelty free, sustainably sourced from local farms to the manufacturer!

• Our herbs are home-grown or from Mountain Rose Herbs, who boasts numerous certificates for their products including fair trade, USDA certified organic, and much more. We are currently expanding our herbal garden to offer only home-grown herbs in our products.

•The tallow products come from a family farm precisely 6 minutes down the road. I agreed to partner with the farm after he showed the love and care that goes into not only his products, but his farm and the animals he raises there. While it is beef tallow, these cattle are raised with love and care from birth to processing, and using the tallow from the cattle ensures nothing goes to waste.

• Our beeswax is 100% organic, and is sustainably harvested from happy bees right here in the U.S.

• Our essential oils come from Gya labs who produce the oils from across the globe, to ensure sustainable practices regarding the native plants of that region.
